    (2018) Anshul Sinha
This docudrama is a story of a village put up for sale. It shows the quest of a young agricultural scientist Ekta who tries to understand the agrarian crisis as a result of climate change, use of inorganic pesticides and genetically modified crops and its impact on small farmers and peasants. It shows that the use of genetically modified crops like BT cotton are harmful for the environment and depletes the soil of its water content and nutrients. Despite of this, sale of these GM crops is widespread across the country because of the nexus between the corporate giants, government, and dominant money lending castes of the village. All of them are duping and exploiting the farmers leading to farmers suicide. It also shows how a sustainable livelihood approach can be adopted by shifting to organic farming and multi-crop farming. The film shows the mental health of farmers through highlighting the level of distress and anxiety because of the debts and also touches upon the issue of caste and class hier
