Abstract

The case study highlights structural violence, poverty and its connections with tuberculosis. It also shows inequalities in distribution and outcome of infectious diseaseses. It explores the disparities manifesting in biological form but are largely socially determined. The story also impels the readers to make sense of somatization, grief and suffering.
