This compliance Audit comments on All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) brings out two pertinent issues:

  1. Short recovery of water charges
  2. Non Recovery of Building and Other Construction Workers' Welfare Cess. With regard to both these compliance audit paragraphs, the matter was referred to the Ministry in June 2009, but the reply was awaited as of February 2010.
