DescriptionTranscript from Field Work as part of Winter Field Project.
AbstractIt is a powerful narrative that brings out a lot of nuanced experiences that Muslim women go through at the health systems and in the society at large. It highlights the issues of domestic violence, family support, traumatic experiences with the public health care system and stigma and discrimination towards muslim women. It also shows the pathetic state of government hospitals and the apathy, insensitive and indifferent attitude of government hospital staff towards Muslim women.
