AbstractThis film begins by highlighting the rich cultural and environmental heritage of the state of Kerala designated as one of the most beautiful places in the world. Then it highlights the darker and sinister side of this beautiful place. It shows how the aerial spraying of the pesticide Endosulfan by the plantation corporation of kerala for the last 20 years has led to a remarkable increase in the incidence of congenital anomalies and deformities among children. Delayed milestones and variety of abnormal changes in the health of people. Besides, physical and mental retardation, cancer, psychiatric disturbances and suicides for absolutely no reason has been prevalent among the residents of these areas. It shows the serious public health implications of chemical exposure to a community.
